Our House Rules
We hope you’ll enjoy our great food and drink along with our friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Now let’s get down to the house rules
Newcomers – If you came here looking for a fancy lunch, you’re in the wrong place. We are not a gourmet restaurant. We’re a neighborhood tavern specializing in real good homemade food and a variety of great BBQ specialties, also finger foods and pizza up until midnight if you insist.
Regulars – Congratulations on your continued good taste. You already know what the ground rules are so please don’t bother us with your mamby-pamby pain in the “A” questions. Can’t you see we're understaffed and unorganized enough as it is?
Service – There is no service like Thirsty’s service, which in itself is the same thing. But just in case you did want service, please don’t just sit there acting polite. Wave, yell, pound on the table, anything…someone is bound to hear you. If it’s payday, waving a handful of cash in front of your bartender is always a great eye opener.
Critics – Thirsty’s is always eager to learn how we can straighten up our act to better serve you, so feel free to offer some constructive criticism, but don’t be surprised if you are asked to leave.
Now sit down, relax, order a nice drink and get ready for a nice meal. In short, enjoy yourself and have a great time. If you’re not having a good time, could you do us a favor & smile & at least pretend you are, that way everyone thinks everyone is happy regardless of how miserable they might be.
P.S. We also have a lot of booze we’d like to sell you if you want (or need) one. If you’re not the type that likes to have a pop now or then you can always order a soft drink or something.
